Outback Guttervac franchise partners attracted to professional backing of our proven business model

Experienced business owner Joe Donovan operated a successful recycling company for nearly three decades. While shopping for a power washing contractor for a home project, he was so blown away with the Outback GutterVac franchise model that he decided to own one. Together with partner Joey Lamb, he is set to bring Outback GutterVac to the Dothan, Alabama, market. Joe thinks Outback GutterVac’s commitment to timely, safe and reliable service fills an important niche in the market. After all, he knows what it was like to find a power washing contractor before Outback GutterVac.

“Either people would not show up to give us the quote they said they would or the job was too big. The guy who did take the job charged four times too much and did a poor job. He was booked for almost an entire month. When I received his bill and my wife cut the check, I decided there had to be a way this could be done better and we started to do a lot of research,” says Joe. Joe and Joey signed a two-territory deal for the Dothan, Alabama, market. Their first location opened in November.

Outback GutterVac is a gutter cleaning franchise built to take the U.S. market by storm. Utilizing our proprietary ThunderVac Technology ProcessTM, franchise owners deliver quality gutter cleaning without the grime of doing it themselves or the hassle that comes with any of the fly-by-night gutter cleaners out there. Each Outback GutterVac franchise is licensed and insured, and technicians receive rigorous ladder and roof safety training that meets OSHA and ANSI standards. When it comes to gutter cleaning, nothing like Outback GutterVac exists elsewhere in the market.

While we are known primarily for our gutter cleaning services, our other home maintenance services provide franchisees with a steady revenue stream. From power washing to installation of our affordable GutterRoo gutter protection system, Outback GutterVac is the well-rounded home maintenance and cleaning service that helps franchisees like Joe and Joey maximize their profitability potential.

“One of the main benefits of franchising with Outback GutterVac is the fact that we offer entrepreneurs recurring revenue streams,” says Scott O’Hara, Outback GutterVac Managing Director. “After many years of success in Australia, our brand is drawing a lot of attention quickly here in the U.S. not only from investors, but also from consumers who are relieved to find a professional gutter cleaning service they can rely on.”

Deciding to join a relatively new U.S. franchise concept was not a tough decision for Joe and Joey. “With the brand’s success in Australia and the professional backing and partnership with Noble Brands, we felt like this was a smart decision. Outback GutterVac already had the franchise system in place — the marketing, the business support center and all of the other things that go along with them. We’re realistic and know there will be a learning curve, but we’re optimistic that we’ll be putting our second truck out on the market soon,” Joe says.

Technology and safety establish us as a top investment choice

As Joe did his due diligence researching our brand, he began to realize what a perfect fit Outback GutterVac was for him. He had been cleaning his own gutters by hand for years, which was not only dangerous, but also ineffective. He was amazed at our proprietary ThunderVac™ Technology Process, which is guaranteed to remove leaves and all other sorts of unpleasant debris from gutters, roofs and downspouts quickly, safely and effectively. This proven system revolutionized the Australian gutter cleaning industry, paving the way for us to set the bar — both for gutter cleaning and safety, and Joe knew he’d found a gem in the billions of feet of unkempt gutters in the U.S. that homeowners are reluctant to clean without the proper equipment.

“The safety training and everything else definitely gave my wife the warm fuzzies. How many other wives are going to be glad to not have their husbands up on a ladder cleaning the gutters? And how many husbands are going to say, ‘Yes! I can watch football instead of getting on the roof and cleaning gutters!’?” Joe says.

Our financing and regimented structure are ideal for veterans

As a veteran, Joe also found owning an Outback GutterVac franchise affordable. He took advantage of the veteran financing, purchased two territories and is looking forward to launching his business and getting his second truck on the road as quickly as possible.

“Outback GutterVac avoids the cable company mentality of ‘we’ll be there sometime on Thursday’ and they show up Friday,” Joey says. “Veterans appreciate punctuality. It’s instilled in them in boot camp. They follow the regimented structure very well.”
